Why we're here

On a mission from the Rebbe, King Moshiach

We founded the Chabad House in Delhi on a mission from the Lubavitcher Rebbe, King Moshiach. The Rebbe taught that every Jew, anywhere in the world, can add light, and that every small mitzvah brings the Redemption closer.

That's why we're here, in the middle of Main Bazaar: so every Jew who lands in Delhi has a warm home, Shabbat, tefillin and a kind word, and so that together we prepare the world to greet Moshiach.

Long live our Master, our Teacher and our Rebbe, King Moshiach, forever and ever

Nice to meet you!

You've just landed in the busiest city you've ever seen. Rickshaws, horns, smells everywhere. Then, right in the middle of Main Bazaar, there's a Moshiach flag on a rooftop, the smell of coffee, and someone asking, "Have you eaten yet?"

We opened the Chabad House as emissaries of the Rebbe King Moshiach Shlita, so that every Jew who comes to Delhi has a place to go. For the soul, and to bring the Redemption.
